Supported currencies

You can set the currency for your SearchAds account to U.S. dollar, Canadian dollar, Australian dollar, New Zealanddollar, British pound, or Euro. All bidding and billing activity will occur inthe currency you select.

Note: You can only select one currency peraccount, and once it’s set you can’t change it.

Payment methods

Adding a credit card

Your campaign won’t run until your accountincludes a valid payment method. You can add your credit card on the EnterAccount Payment Details page during the campaign setup process.

If a charge to your credit card is declinedfor any reason, we will pause your campaigns and attempt to charge the samecredit card again within 48 hours of the declined transaction. If you add areplacement credit card to your account, we will charge the replacement creditcard within 24 hours from the time the credit card information is updated. Oncethe transaction is authorized, your ads will become eligible to appear in AppStore search results again.

Valid credit and debit cards

Search Ads accepts Visa, MasterCard,American Express and Discover. For Discover, we can only accept payment in U.S.dollars, and your account billing currency must be set to the U.S. dollar.

PIN-less and PIN-optional VISA andMastercard debit cards are also accepted. Note that at this time, we cannotaccept Maestro, Visa Plus or Visa Electron brands. Your debit card dailyspending limit must be able to cover your campaign charges.

Cards from the following countries are notvalid forms of payment: Austria, Chile, Cuba, Ghana. Hungary, Iran, Mauritius,North Korea, Philippines, Singapore.

Other invalid forms of payment includepre-paid cards, gift cards, ATM cards, and digital wallets such as PayPal andVenmo.

Changing a credit card

To update a payment method, add your newcard and set it as the primary payment method on your account. Just sign in and:

• Toggle to the Billing Info tab.
• Click Edit Card.
• Enter your new credit card information, andsave it.
  

Please note: You may only have one activecredit card at a time for your account. You can only change your credit cardinfo three times within a 24-hour period.
